 "John Kerry to attend Vibrant Gujarat Summit")
Representing the United States Government, US Secretary of State John Kerry and US Ambassador to India Kathleen Stephens will be attending the Vibrant Gujarat Global Investors’ Summit in January 2015.
According to an official communique by the Gujarat government, Kerry and Stephens will lead US industrialists and businessmen’s delegation to the seventh edition of biennial event.
Saurabh Patel, minister of finance and industries, Government of Gujarat said that the US India Business Council has already agreed to join the mega event as the official partner organisation. Several CEOs of large corporations, including US IBC and Master Card CEO Ajay Banga, are scheduled to attend the Summit, Patel added.
The Minister also said that it was due to relentless efforts of Gujarat Chief Minister Anandiben Patel for the last several months that as many as eight nations are now participating as country partners, including a delegation of 90 from the USA.
