The rally will focus on the merits and advantages of the nuke deal. The deal would eliminate power problems and lead to abundant production in the farm sector, ensuring prosperity of farmers.
Puducherry Congress Committee (PCC) President A V Subramanian told reporters today that the rally, on July 19, will be led by Mahila Congress local Chairperson Jeane Pourani.
The Chief Minister, his cabinet colleagues and representatives of various wings of the party would also participate in the rally.
The All India Mahila Congress will organise rallies on the same day in all state and district headquarters, he said.
