The Junagadh Dairy on Wednesday launched ‘Rajdan’, a bypass protein cattle feed, at Bagvadar of Porbandar district. The new cattle feed is balanced and reasonably priced in comparison to other feeds available in the market. ‘Rajdan’ will be available at Porbandar through authorised distributors as well. “After the revival of Junagadh dairy in 2005, the milk processing capacity of it has increased from 8,500 litres per day to 350,000 litres per day. Thirty bulk milk chilling units have been established to ensure better quality milk,” said an official release from Junagadh dairy.
