Allaying West Bengal's concern, Union rural development minister Jairam Ramesh has written a letter to the state government saying there would be no discrimination against the state due to Congress-TMC break up.
In his letter addressed to state panchyet and rural development minister Subrata Mukherjee, his Bengal counterpart, Ramesh has assured, the recent political development will have no bearing on releasing fund to the state projects on part of his ministry. However, in the letter, Ramesh also expressed his displeasure about TMC leadership's “uncalled-for criticism” of the Centre.Incidentally, West Bengal government recently alleged that Union uraban development ministry was going slow on releasing fund for state's for drinking water projects.
Earlier, Railway Minister C P Joshi had also said, no railway projects in West Bengal would be affected following change of guard in Rail Bhawan.
