Plaza Cable Industries, which enjoys leadership position in the north Indian cable market, is targeting a 25 per cent marketshare in the southern markets in the next two to three years. To achieve this, it is planning to strengthen its distributor base in the southern states of AP, Karnataka and TN.

Its product range includes power cables, railway signaling cables, aerial bunched cables, medium voltage XLPE insulated cables and mining cables. The estimated market size of AP for aluminium and copper wiring, stands at Rs 90 crore with a 3 per cent annual growth rate,
