Police quizzes persons on links with AT group

The Commissionerate Police, probing into misappropriation of several hundred crores of depositors' money by the AT (Artha Tatwa) group, on Tuesday quizzed the alleged beneficiaries of the chit fund company.

The police had summoned 22 people for questioning in connection with their possible links with Artha Tatwa group chief, Pradip Sethi, who was arrested few days back.

Today, eleven people including media house owners, builders were called to the Kharavela Nagar police station to clarify their stand while the rest persons have been asked to report on Wednesday.

Among others, builder Satyabrat Dheer, media entrepreneurs Bikash Swain, Manoj Das, businessmen Dharmendra Bothra, Sanjay Panda and Ashish Dhal turned up for interrogation while builder Vineet Lalani, Sagar Rai and were represented by their chartered accountants. Till afternoon, three persons Rohit Das, Mohan Sahoo and Manoj Pradhan, who were also summoned by the police, had not turned up. Police said, the revelations of all these people were video recorded.
