Pramod Kumar Rastogi is the new steel secretary

Pramod Kumar Rastogi, a 1974 batch IAS officer belonging to the Andhra Pradesh cadre, today took over as the steel secretary in the union steel ministry. 

Before this assignment, Rastogi was a special secretary in the defence ministry. Rastogi replaces R S Pandey, who has moved to the ministry of petroleum as secretary.
