Vice President Hamid Ansari, UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi accompanied by Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee and Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Sushma Swaraj today called on US President Barack Obama to discuss bilateral and other issues.

Ansari was the first to meet Obama soon after the joint press conference of the US President with Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.

He was followed by Swaraj who is understood to have discussed India's apprehensions regarding Obama's reported opposition to outsourcing. The Civil Nuclear Liability and concerns of the principal opposition on some aspects of the issue were likely to have come up for discussion, sources said.

Gandhi was accompanied by Mukherjee during her meeting with Obama. The two had met yesterday also at the dinner hosted by the Prime Minister in honour of Obama and US First Lady Michelle.

Bilateral issues and India's concerns over cross-border terrorism, economic and strategic aspects and the cooperation in dealing with problems relating to them are understood to have come up for discussion.
