Delhi today had a third successive sunny day, much to the relief of Commonwealth Games organisers who are in a mad rush to give finishing touches to the preparations for the event.
The city has got three sunny days since Saturday after it received heavy rains for a week, jeopardising the last-minute preparations for the mega event which will begin next Sunday.
More good news is in store for the Games organisers as the weather office has predicted that there is no possibility of rains tomorrow and the city is likely to have a clear sky with temperatures oscillating between a tolerable 23 and 34 degree Celsius.
Today, the maximum was recorded at 33.7 degree Celsius and minimum at 23.1 degrees. The humidity oscillated between 38 and 95 per cent.
Delhi saw one of its wettest monsoons this year as the rainfall has touched 1,031.5 mm. The city received an excess of 391 mm of rains this season.
