Two more swine flu cases were confirmed in Hyderabad today. According to officials, one 26-year old youth and another four-and-half year girl got infected from the virus from a youth who travelled to Hyderabad on a British Airlines flight on June 2. The 26-year old is the brother of the one who came to Hyderabad. On June 4, the youth who travelled to Hyderabad, was tested positive of the H1N1 virus strain.
On the same day, the hospital authorities took oral swabs of his brother and sent them for examination to the National Institute of Communicable Diseases. The report came today and it confirmed him to be positive. In another case, the girl, who was the co-passenger in the same flight, was also tested positive.
