Ahead of the Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) polls scheduled on February 16, two warring Congress stalwarts from the city seem to have buried their old differences.

Former Maharashtra Minister Satish Chaturvedi, who had allegedly tried to "engineer" the defeat of city MP Vilas Muttemwar in the past, yesterday felicitated the latter for becoming the general-secretary of All India Congress Committee (AICC).

During the function, top Congress leaders launched an attack on the ruling BJP for "indulging in corruption" and alleging that "development activities have taken a back seat during the BJP rule."
