Vedanta Univ Bill reintroduced in Orissa Assembly

Amidst protest from Opposition Congress, Orissa government on Saturday re-introduced in the Assembly a controversial bill on setting up a university by Vedanta Resource Corporation in Puri district.

Vedanta University Bill-2009 was moved in the House last year in the previous Assembly but could not be formally introduced in the face of disapproval from the opposition.
