| The College has recently received a grant of Rs 8.5 crore from the Central Government (under World Bank funding) as part of its technical education quality improvement programme. |

| The College will be augmenting and upgrading its facilities in computing and networking, library, research, training etc and will also set up specialised laboratories in select areas. |

| "The college's plans to become a center of excellence are achievable," said Gulabchand. |
