Odisha Board declares HSC 2017 results @www.bseodisha.nic.in

Board of Secondary Education (BSE) has declared the HSC results today on the official website — bseodisha.ac.in (Or Indiaresults.nic.in). Nearly 11000 students are re-appearing for the HSC exam that was held in June.  A total of 6.08 lakh students have appeared for the annual exam held in March. Nearly 4.85 lakh students have passed the examination. The exams were conducted by the Board in April 2017 at 2,887 centres across the state. More than 14000 teachers at sixty authorized centers were engaged in checking the papers and the evaluation of marks.  
 
Last year, the Board conducted the exams from Feb 22, 2016 to March 4, 2016. A total of 6, 01,348 students had appeared for the HSC examinations held at 2,882 centers across the state from. As many as 16,000 teachers were engaged in paper checking and the evaluation of answer sheets. The Board authorities that time confirmed no result booklets would be published this year as the results along with the mark sheet would be published online for faster facilitation and students’ convenience.
 
How to check your results:
 
Go to the official site http://www.bseodisha.nic.in/
Search for ‘Results’ tab on the Home Page (Above ‘Notifications). Click on the same.
You will be directed to the Results page.
Search for ‘Annual H.S.C & Madhyama Result-2017 Dt. 26-04-2017 at 11.30 A.M’. Click on the same.
Provide your roll number and other details in the box provided in the page. Hit the Submit button.
Your result will appear. Print it out for future use.

Passing Percentage And Answer Scripts:
 
This year 2, 55,051 girls cleared the exams outnumbering the 2, 47, 948 boys. The overall passing percentage is 85.27. If a student wants the photocopy of their answer scripts post evaluation, he or she can apply for the same by July 20 (Thursday) with a fee of Rs 100 a subject. After the application, the student can collect the same from the zonal office.

The Board constitutionally is at the helm of controlling and maintaining all the obligatory secondary education in the state of Odisha. Under this Board are various courses offered to students for different occupations and to prepare the students for university. All the state schools, private schools and colleges in the state of Odisha are affiliated to this Board which also manages the Secondary Board High School, Cuttack, as a model high school. It examines those who complete a prescribed course of study and awards certificates to the successful candidates.
