The 2G spectrum scam involving former Telecom Minister and DMK leader A Raja had ‘spoiled’ the name of the Congress party, Union Minister EM Sudharshana Natchiappan said today.

“The name of Congress was spoiled due to the 2G spectrum scam, involving former DMK minister and Nilgiris (SC) constituency candidate Raja,” he told reporters here.

Natchiappan claimed it was Raja who was solely responsible for the scam and not the Prime Minister or Finance Minister as was being made out, as the telecom portfolio was solely handled by him.
