The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Monday released the fourth list of candidates for 61 Lok Sabha seats. The party declared 39 candidates for Uttar Pradesh, of which ten are Muslims. With this, the party, which seeks to contest around 350 seats, has declared 131 names for the Lok Sabha elections.

The list has 13 candidates for Karnataka. The party fielded candidates for all four Bangalore seats. Former Infosys Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and party member V Balakrishnan is contesting the Bangalore Central seat, where he is pitted against  incumbent MP P C Mohan of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

Balakrishnan had quit Infosys on December 31 last year only to join AAP on the next day. He is also actively involved in raising fund for the party.

Another Infosys ex-board member and the chief of the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) project, Nandan Nilekani will fight on a Congress ticket against child rights activist Nina P Nayak from Bangalore South.

The party, which often lashes out at media, has fielded former Tehelka journalist and founder of news portal gulail.com Ashish Khetan from the New Delhi constituency.

Senior Congress leader and former Union Cabinet Minister Ajay Maken is the sitting MP from this constituency.
