Ahead of the BJP Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi's public meeting here today, Jharkhand Vikas Morcha (Prajatantrik) (JVM) workers sat on fast alleging BJP fielded 'tainted candidate' from Jamshedpur Lok Sabha seat.

Led by JVM sitting MP-cum-party candidate from the seat, Dr Ajay Kumar and the party's central committee Secretary Abhay Singh, over hundred of party workers sat on fast under the bust of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose at Aam Bagan, Sakchi, about 1.5 kms from Gopal Maidan, Bistupur where Modi was schedule to address the meeting in favor of party candidate Bidyut Baran Mahato.

An MLA from Baharagora constituency, Mahato has recently crossed over to BJP from JMM to contest the ensuing poll.
