Kejriwal continues his roadshows in Delhi

AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal along with party candidate Jarnail Singh today undertook a road show in several areas of West Delhi parliamentary constituency here today where he drew a good response from the residents.

Although Kejriwal arrived for the road show at around 11:00 AM, an hour late from the scheduled time, party volunteers and locals waited for him on the streets amid hot conditions.

Traveling in an open jeep, Kejriwal along with Jarnail Singh waved to the crowd and shook hands with the residents.

The road show began from Rajouri Garden assembly constituency. The next stop was Tilak Nagar followed by Hari Nagar. The road show which had a convoy of around ten vehicles, ended at Janakpuri area.

Throughout the way, he was greeted by enthusiastic crowds, locals of all age group, young and old peeped through their balconies and windows to have a glimpse of the former chief minister.

People ran along with the Kejriwal's vehicle to shake hands with him and garland him. Passersby on foot and even those on moving vehicles halted to click pictures.

He was also welcomed by residents outside some gurudwaras which were on the way, a significant sign in a constituency which had a majority of Sikh voters.

However, despite the warm response, the AAP leader did not stop anywhere to address the public or the media but he did interact with people and lent his ear to those who wanted to say something to him.

Police had made fool-proof security arrangement for the road show especially after a man had slapped the former chief minister in Dakshinpuri area during a similar rally a couple of days ago.
