Actor-politician Shatrughan Sinha on Sunday lashed out at the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for sidelining him in the run up to the Bihar Assembly polls and said that he was not campaigning in the state due to the insecure local leaders who have fed matter of convenience stories to the top brass.
The Patna Sahib MP, who was once a star campaigner for the BJP, in a series of tweets said that he had preferred to stay out of the election campaigns this time because of the insecure local leaders.
"My party workers, friends, supporters and well-wishers wonder why I am not seen on the campaign trail....I assure them it is not by choice, been kept out thanks to insecure local leaders who we know very well..who have fed matter of convenience stories to the party leaders," Sinha tweeted.
Sinha, however, wished that the BJP candidates get the love and support of the people of Bihar this time.
