Indian Overseas Bank (IOB) today reported a 22.3% increase in net profit at Rs 197.22 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2005 when compared with Rs 161.21 crore in the corresponding quarter a year ago.According to a release issued by the bank to the BSE today, total income increased 11% to Rs 1,303.31 crore when compared with Rs 1,173 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2004.
