Lakshmi Vilas Bank ties up with PayMate India

Private sector lender Lakshmi Vilas Bank (LVB) has tied-up with Mumbai-based wireless transaction platform provider PayMate India for offering mobile payment solutions to the banks' customers.

According to the agreement, Lakshmi Vilas Bank customers will be able to use their mobile to pay for utility bills, movie and flight tickets and make online purchases etc using with PayMate's platform, a release said here.

"Our alliance with Lakshmi Vilas Bank will further bolster our payments ecosystem. Further, we are excited to bring mobile payments to LVB's customers and are confident that the sheer convenience of using their phones to make payments will drive the uptake and enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty," PayMate MD and Founder Ajay Adiseshann said.
