LVB H1 net jumps four-fold

Private sector lender Lakshmi Vilas Bank today reported a nearly four-fold rise in net profit to Rs 44.66 crore for the six months ended September 2009 on the back of growth in all verticals.

Total income for the half-year ended September 2009 stood at Rs 484.31 crore as against Rs 326.78 crore in the corresponding period of the previous year, said a bank release.
