State Bank of India (SBI) has invited eligible candidates to apply for Specialist Cadre Officers (SO) posts. The bank is looking at filling up around 476 vacancies on a regular and as well as contract basis. Interested candidates need to be BE, B.Techand MCA degree holders. Candidates are requested to apply online at bank’s official website careers page.
Last date to register an application and pay examination fee online is October 31, 2016. Last date for receipt of hard copy of online application along with enclosure for contractual post is November 4, 2016. The test will be conducted tentatively on November 25, 2016. Eligibility criteria
Indian citizens can apply for appointment in SO post in SBI. Candidates may apply for one post from serial number 1to 4, and more than one post from serial number 5 to 32 under this project.

Candidates applying for post no. 6 to 32 need to send their computer generated hard copy of application duly signed and pasted with their recent photographs along with relevant documents.

Candidates for contractual positions will be selected based on the scores obtained in interview only. There will be no written examinations. For permanent positions, candidates will shortlisted on the basis of online test and interview. The test will be conducted tentatively on November 25,2016.
