Passengers on a Virgin Atlantic domestic flight from Sydney to Albury jumped off the plane after they heard "leave your luggage and Get out and Run."
A note was found in the bathroom that said there is a bomb on the plane that had 42 passengers on board, which turned out to be hoax.
Police and emergency services carried out a search of the aircraft and found nothing, The Tribune Express reported.
Police said one man has been arrested. No further details have been provided.
