Bangladesh blocks 35 websites

The Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC) has blocked 35 websites, a media report said on Friday.

The telecom regulator blocked online news portals Sheersha News and Amar Desh's websites, bdnews24 reported.

BTRC Chairman Shahjahan Mahmood told the media that "sheershanews.com BD" was blocked on government orders. He did not assign any reason for the action.
