Steven Spielberg's 'The Post' is Time magazine's 'Movie of the Year'

The Time magazine has unveiled a list of 2017 movies that conquered everyone's mind and imagination.

Steven Spielberg's 'The Post' topped the list, while the other films on the list include 'Dunkirk', 'The Lost City of Z' and 'Get Out' to name a few.

'The Post' is a thrilling drama featuring Tom Hanks and Meryl Streep in the lead roles. The film revolves around a story of dedicated journalists - a publisher, her editor and a newsroom striving to join the ranks of the best in the country - taking a stand for the truth, justice and the American public's right to be informed.

The film brings the powerful trio of Steven Spielberg, Tom Hanks and Meryl Streep for the first time on celluloid - also marking the 11th collaboration of Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks.

The movie features an ensemble star cast like Tom Hanks, Meryl Streep, Alison Brie, Carrie Coon, David Cross, Bruce Greenwood, Tracy Letts, Bob Odenkirk, Sarah Paulson, Jesse Plemons, Matthew Rhys, Michael Stuhlbarg, Bradley Whitford and Zach Woods.

Presented by Reliance Entertainment, The Post is directed by Steven Spielberg. The ace filmmaker will also be producing the film with Amy Pascal and Kristie Macisko Krieger.

The film is all set for its theatrical release in India on January 12, 2018.
