Bharathidasan Institute of Management, Trichy, in association with CII Institute of Logistics, Chennai, and Tata Consultancy Services, is organising a two-day national-level seminar and workshop called 'Manusmriti' at Trichy on October 29 and 30.Manusmriti is an attempt to bring together corporate, management consultants, academicians and research scholars to show the way ahead for achieving cost efficiency and global competitiveness.The two-day seminar will emphasise on global competitiveness, logistics and supply chain efficiency, information technology and other best practices in manufacturing which will facilitate in identifying and handling the future challenges in the manufacturing sector more effectively.The objectives of this seminar is to achieve greater association between industry and academia to learn, understand and appreciate the best practices in Indian manufacturing sector and identify the future challenges in the manufacturing sector.
