After a fee revision for the postgraduate programme (PGP) batch 2010-12, the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad (IIM-A) has raised the fees again by 5.5 per cent for the 2011-13 batch. Similarly, the institute has revised fees for the one-year postgraduate programme for executives (PGPX) by five per cent as well.
Talking about the fee hike, Samir Barua, director, IIM-A, said, “Fees have been revised due to inflation. Yet, the revision does not correspond with the inflation rate so as to moderate the impact on students' families who will be paying the fees.”
