IIM-C alumni to mull on 'India Inc going abroad'

| The IIM-Calcutta Alumni Association Bangalore chapter will host a one-day seminar on 'India Inc " Going Abroad " Investing and Managing Internationally' on April 19 in Bangalore. |
| The seminar will examine the dynamics involved in acquiring globally and managing international transactions. |
| The meet is being held in the wake of India Inc global acquisitions valued at $4.3 billion with 136 international acquisitions in 2005 across sectors like telecom, auto and auto parts, steel, aluminium and other sectors. |
| According to a spokesperson, the seminar will witness speakers like Jagadish Seth, the Charles H Keelstadt, professor of marketing in the Goizueta Business School at Emory University, Dr Anji Reddy, founder & chairman, Dr Reddy's Laboratories, Ravi Nedungadi, president & CFO, UB Group, Rajiv Gupta, MD, The Carlyle Group India, Sunil Kakkad, Partner, Lawrence Graham amongst others. |
| They will share their insights on managing international acquisitions, methodologies for acquiring, negotiating, closing international transactions, cultural and control issues involved in managing international business. |
