After launching inter- university programmes for its post-graduate students in 2002, the Mumbai-based Welingkar Institute of Management will now offer international three-year undergraduate business programmes too.

Welingkar has tied up with Fox School of Business & Management, Temple University, US and the Newcastle Business School, Northumbria University, UK to offer this programme, whereby students can complete their first two years of the programme in India and the last one year in either the US or the UK.

Students with a 10+2 degree can apply for this under-graduate course, which is based on the "2+2" concept (for the US programme) and the "2+1" concept (for the UK programme).

The course has a big advantage for Indian students, claims the institute "" by completing four years of the graduation programme (12+4 years of education in total), the students can easily apply for the masters programmes at the international universities.
