Aig Plans Amc, Consumer Finance Foray In India

The American International Group Inc (AIG) has its eyes set on expanding its footprint and franchise in India as it plans to foray into asset management and consumer finance businesses. The US-based international insurance and financial services organisation has its operations in 130 countries across the globe.

Though AIG has not defined the size of investment into these two new business ventures, it is keen to commence businesses before the year-end.
