Almamet Launches Mg Agents For Steelmaking
Almamet Reagents Ltd (ARL) today inaugurated its factory at Adityapur in Jamshedpur for manufacturing and supplying magnesium-based desulphurising (Mg DS) compounds, a new product used in steelmaking.
Dr T Mukherjee, deputy managing director, Tata Steel, formally inaugurated the plant, set up by Almamet GmbH of Germany and Sunag Engineering Ltd through ARL, a joint venture company.
ARL sources said the site was selected after Tisco assured offtake of the new generation material.
