Archies soars on stake purchase by Videocon

Archies however clarified to the BSE that it was not in any talks with Videocon Group for a buyout or strategic control. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs 105.75 (20 per cent upper circuit) and a low of Rs 90.25.

The counter witnessed trading volumes of 96,951 shares, with delivery volumes of 82.16 per cent. The scrip registered a 52-week high of Rs 183.95 on January 4 and a 52-week low of Rs 70 on March 24 this year.
