Avantel rises on defence order

The Avantel scrip rose 4.89 per cent to close at Rs 32.20 after the firm announced it has bagged a Rs 6.85-crore order from the Ministry of Defence for supply of satellite communication products to coast guards.

The scrip opened at Rs 31.70 and touched a high of Rs 32.20 and low of Rs 31.50. A total of 1080 shares of Avantel changed hands on the BSE. The scrip has gained 4.89 per cent in last one week.
