Barley down on selling pressure
Most traded contract was had open interest of 10,770 lots in early trade today
Barley prices softened by Rs 9.50 to Rs 1,394 per quintal in futures trade today following increased selling by traders.
At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, barley prices for December delivery lost Rs 9.50, or 0.68%, to Rs 1,394 per quintal, with an open interest of 10,770 lots.
The prices for delivery in January also shed Rs 8.50, or 0.59%, to Rs 1,430 per quintal, with an open interest of 1,500 lots.
