The Naresh Chandra Committee on auditor-corporate relations, which met here today, took into account a number of issues including rotation of auditors, qualifications in the financial statements, regulations of the professions and independence of directors. The panel will be meeting cross-section of people around the country and submit its report within 45 days.
Most of the members of the view that the legislations and guidelines, which are already in place, should be implemented on a priority basis.
