Gold coins, easy housing loans, doctor on 24-hour duty, free membership of clubhouse, gymnasium and swimming pool. The property developers are dishing out freebies and value-additions to beat the housing recession.

While most of the real estate developers are offering power back-up services, security system and the parking facilities to customers, others have gone a step ahead to package value-added features like a shopping arcade, school and poly-clinic within their projects.

The smaller developers or the new entrants are, however, looking at additional sops to attract more clients. Thus, Forte Point Constru-ction in Delhi is offering a water softening plant, direct mineral water connection to each house and free membership of clubhouse, gymnasium and swimming pool at the Concorde Apartments in Gurgaon.

The Goel Ganga Group of Pune has also resorted to giving away some freebies like gold coins for its project at Hadapsar in Pune.

In Mumbai, Jaycee Homes & Hotels has introduced an easy financing scheme for its project near Hiranandani Gardens at Powai wherein the customer would be required to pay only 15 per cent upfront.
