Forward Trading In More Commodities Likely

The Forwards Market Commission (FMC) is considering introduction of futures/forward trading in more commodities including tea, chilli and onion by December this year.

Introduction of futures in more agri-commodities are part of the National Agriculture Policy announced by the government last year.

Anand Kumar Bhatt, chairman of FMC said,
