GE Shipping up on record Baltic Index

Shares of Great Eastern Shipping rose 2.56 per cent to close at Rs 172.05 after the Baltic Dry Index hit a four-month high. The scrip, which opened at Rs 165.20, traded at a high of Rs 174.50 and a low of Rs 163.95.

A total of 306,684 shares of GE shipping changed hands on the Bombay Stock exchange. The scrip has declined 13.56 per cent in the past week.
