Gur chakku prices up on better offtake

Gur chakku prices improved by Rs 50 per 100 kg in the national capital today on restricted supply amid better offtake.

However, gur prices ruled flat in Muzzafarnagar and Muradnagar gur market on little doings.

Marketmen said better offtake by stockists and retailers pushed up gur chakku prices.

Gur chakku gained from Rs 2,800-2,900 to settle at Rs 2,850-2,900 per quintal.

Chakku Rs 2,850-2,900, Pedi Rs 2,950-3,000 and Dhayya N.T., shakkar Rs 3,100-3,200
