The shares of GV Films soared 7.73 per cent to Rs 8.92, following the company's announcement that it had picked up distribution rights of film star Rajnikanth's mega film 'Sivaji'.
 
The industry expects the film to do a business of more than Rs 100 crore. The scrip topped the volume charts with over 70 lakh shares trading on the Bombay Stock Exchange. The scrip has gained nearly 14 per cent during the week.
