Having tied up with European asset management company (AMC), Nordea Investment Management in July this year, ICICI Prudential AMC is all set to expand its reach to the American market.
The Indian mutual fund major is planing to join hands with a US-based partner in the next fiscal.
"We have been successful in the European market through our tie-up with Nordea Investment Management. Within just three months of our tie-up, we have been able to achieve asset size of around Rs 1500 crore (US $ 300 million)," said Nimesh Shah, MD and CEO, ICICI Prudential AMC Ltd.
"There is ample opportunity in the overseas markets. We are already having presence in countries like Japan, Middle East and Taiwan. We are considering to expand our presence in US market. We may tie-up with a US partner in the next fiscal," Shah informed.
