Thursday was a mixed day for the Indian ADRs, with six ADRs ending in the geen, and an equal number closing in the negative.
Satyam Computer Services closed up 2.7% at $3.38, followed by MTNL at $2.25 up 0.9%. Tata Communications gained 0.6% at $11.61, while Genpact, which acquired the US-based Headstrong for $550 million, added 0.6% to close at $15.65.
ICICI Bank at $49.56 and Infosys at $73.27 ended flat, with a positive bias, up 0.3% and 0.2% respectively.
Dr Reddy's was the top loser amongst the Indian ADRs, as the scrip closed down 3.1% at $36.90, while banking major HDFC Bank at $171.50 declined 2.3%. Wipro slipped 0.4% at 15.12, as did Tata Motors at $28.47.
Sterlite Industries remained flat at $15.69 down marginally by 0.3%, and Patni Computer Systems shed 0.2% at $21.35.
