The board will consider issue price, rights entitlement ratio, fractional entitlement and record date for determining eligibility of the shareholders to whom the equity shares to be issued under rights issue, the company said in a release.
Further, the board will also take on record the consolidated financial statements for the half year ended September 30, 2015, the release added.
The stock opened at Rs 252 and touched a high of Rs 257. At 11:30am, over 8,800 shares were traded on both the stock exchanges.
