The stocks of companies engaged in the edible oils and solvent extraction business have risen between December 2004 and February 16, 2005, on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).
 
Ajanta Soya increased from Rs 4.84 to Rs 6.75, up by 39.46 per cent, and Ruchi Soya from Rs 98.55 to Rs 146.25 up 48.40 per cent.
 
N K Industries gained from Rs 3.50 to Rs 5.80, up 65.71 per cent, and and Amrit Banaspati from Rs 19.20 to Rs 23.40. Sanwaria Agro Oils firmed up from Rs 37.95 to Rs 45.35 and Anil Modi Oil Industries from Rs 11.01 to Rs 9.82.
 
Natraj Proteins rose from Rs 4.84 to Rs 6.30 and Poona Dal & Oil Industries from Rs 11.12 to Rs 13.70.
 
Godrej Foods strengthened from Rs 7.13 to Rs 10.77 and IVP from Rs 40.90 to Rs 48.80.
 
Jhunjhunwala Vanaspati inched up from Rs 15.95 to Rs 17.55 and K S Oils from Rs 13.30 to Rs 28.75. Indian Extractions moved from Rs 6.53 to Rs 6.50, KSE from Rs 107.70 to Rs 119.00 and SM Dyechem from Rs 6.39 to Rs 8.53.
 
AVT Natural Products jumped from Rs 72.95 to Rs 159.19.
 
Bhatinda Chemicals declined from Rs 11.02 to Rs 11 and Vimal Oil from Rs 21.70 to Rs 17.75.
 
Richirich Agro fell from Rs 1.75 on December 1, to today's close of Rs 1.35, down 22.85 per cent on the BSE.
