Total income during the quarter increased to Rs 1,257.3 crore against Rs 1,192.9 crore in the same period last year.
On a consolidated basis, Marico posted a net profit of Rs 200.5 crore against Rs 162.2 crore while total income increased to Rs 1,556.4 crore from Rs 1,452.4 crore in the year ago quarter.
The stock opened at Rs 226 and touched a high of Rs 231. At 12:20pm, over 1.98 million shares were traded on both the stock exchanges.
