Markets steady; ICICI, Satyam gain 4%
The Sensex is now up 308 points at 14,100.
The NSE Nifty is up 73 points at 4,263.
HDFC Bank and Tata Steel have surged over 5% each to Rs 1,081 and Rs 614, respectively.
ICICI Bank and Satyam have rallied nearly 4% each to Rs 630 and Rs 383, respectively.
HDFC, Wipro and Reliance Infrastrucutre have gained around 3.5% each at Rs 2,178, Rs 416 and Rs 940, respectively.
Tata Motors, Bharti Airtel and Jaiprakash Associates have advanced over 3% each to Rs 409, Rs 803 and Rs 158, respectively.

BHEL, Ranbaxy and SBI have added 2.7% each to Rs 1,635, Rs 488 and Rs 1,356, respectively.
Reliance, ACC, Grasim, DLF and Infosys are up over 2% each at Rs 2,130, Rs 581, Rs 1,827, Rs 482 and Rs 1,570, respectively.
NTPC has plunged 3.8% to Rs 172, and Hindustan Unilever has slipped 1% to Rs 235.
