Maruti has zoomed 7.7% to Rs 590. HDFC has soared 6.7% to Rs 1,721.
Jaiprakash Associates has surged 6% to Rs 145, and HDFC Bank has rallied 5.7% to Rs 955.
TCS, Larsen & Toubro and DLF have moved up 5.5% each to Rs 768, Rs 2,397 and Rs 416, respectively.
