Tata Mutual Fund has announced record dates for the payment of dividends in its income schemes. The record date for the half-yearly option of Tata Income is September 14, 2001 and the books will remain closed for 17th and 18th of September.
In case of Tata Income-Monthly dividend Option and Tata Gilt-Dividend Option, the record date is September 19th and the books of account will be closed on 20th and 21st of September.
BOI Mutual Fund has announced book-closure in three schemes. The schemes are BOI Best A&B, BOI 80 CCB (Growth & Dividend) and BOI Exclusive Growth Scheme.

The books of the three funds will remain closed from September 18 to September 24 2001. According to the AMC, those Unit holders whose names appears in the books as on September 17, 2001 will be eligible for a final dividend for the period ended March 31, 2001
IDBI-PRINCIPAL AMC has reduced the minimum investment amount under the Systematic Investment Plan (SIP) in all its funds except for the Cash Management Fund.
A new investor can now use the SIP facility after opening an account with the initial minimum amount of Rs.1000/- instead of the earlier Rs. 5000/- (minimum application amount). Investors can opt for an SIP by depositing a minimum of 4 post-dated cheques of periodic investments.
Alliance '95, an open ended balanced fund from Alliance Capital has announced October 15, 2001 as the record date for the seventh dividend payout. All purchases made before 3.30 p.m. on October 15,2001 will be eligible to receive dividends.
Launched in February 1995, the fund has delivered an annualised total return of 23.56 percent. Also Alliance Equity, the open ended diversified equity fund has set September 28, 2001 as the record date for the fifth dividend payout. The fund is an above average performer with a 27.35 percent since its launch in August 98. The quantum of dividend in both the schemes is yet to be declared.
Prudential ICICI and Pioneer ITI AMC have announced the dividend payouts in their bond funds. Pru-ICICI Income Plan has declared a half-yearly payout of 7.5 percent (Rs 0.75 per unit) and the record date for the same is 21 Sept' 2001.
On the other hand, Pioneer ITI Income Builder Account has declared an all-time high dividend of 15 percent in its half-yearly option. The record date for the same is September 28, 2001.
