The downgrading of India's local currency rating by a notch from BBB to BBB- by Standard & Poor's had a mixed impact on the Indian American depositary shares listed on the Nasdaq.
The ADS of six companies declined marginally on Tuesday over their previous day's close, while five others notched gains.
Dr Reddy's Laboratories topped the gainers list, registering a rise of 8 per cent at $25.4 with volume of 4.11 lakh.

HDFC Bank was up 3 per cent at $15.45 with 1.32 lakh ADR changing hands. The other gainers were Sify (up 4 per cent), Satyam Computer (up 1.27 per cent) and Infosys Technologies (up 0.32 per cent).
ICICI Bank was weak with its ADR losing 5.32 per cent at $5.16. Rediff and ICICI fell by 3 per cent each, while VSNL was down by 1 per cent. Wipro fell marginally by 0.49 per cent, while Silverline Technologies declined by 0.57 per cent.
